Birthing the New You, 2021
This work was created after hearing a wonderfully inspiring conversation between two people in 2022.
I had always known that when I created art I was ‘in the zone’ as they call it. Now knowing what I know about meditation, I was always in a meditative place when I created art. This creative place in my mind’s eye while I painting, drawing, printmaking. This energetic vortex that I access and create with and from is my own healing space. This was the first time I tapped into my intuitive knowing and created connecting and infusing a piece with healing energy.
